Rather misleading notice

A notice has appeared on the Forestry Commission board just outside the Arboretum stating that the Donich Circular is closed until Sept 2016. This is in fact incorrect as a) it is open b) a condition of planning permission was that it would only be closed for 3 months – not nearly a year.

Video of the Waterfalls

I walked up round the Donich Circular this morning and took some video footage of the waterfalls for comparison with after the hydro has been constructed. The flow on the river was very low for Feb as it has been very dry recently, so the falls are not spectacular although they do look very pretty.
